Pilots are a very special breed. They like to have useful gadgets! It's essential to have information about aircraft performance, weather conditions, condition of the aircraft and communications to accomplish a successful safe flight. They will always checkout a piece of equipment that will enhance the success of a flight.
Aircheck strives to accomplish all the checklist requirements for a conscientious pilot in the iPhone/iTouch device, a very convenient small package.
When you start up Aircheck, you will see a list page with all the various aircraft that you might fly. The program supplies 2 aircraft so you can see how things are set up. You can add any other aircraft and all the details necessary for complete checklists for them.
When you select the aircraft you'll be flying you'll be shown pre-flight checklists with all the necessary information to insure that all details for a safe aircraft and safe flight can be confirmed.
It only takes missing one vital detail to jeopardize a flight. Aircheck can insure that you don't overlook that vital piece of information.
By tapping on each Preflight Checklist you'll be presented with every detail to be confirmed for each aspect of each aircraft. As you do your "walk around" you can simply check off each item with Aircheck The same is true of the in cockpit check lists as well.
All the necessary confirmations are there for you to check off in preparation for a safe flight!
There are even check lists for in flight emergencies and pre-landing procedures. Very little is left to chance. You can even add items to each check list that fits your particular piloting habits. As you go through your checklists, you can check them off in a box to the right of the item to be confirmed. When the flight is completed you can go back and reset (remove) all the checks in preparation for your next flight!
Aircheck is a well designed extremely helpful program that any consciencious pilot would welcome in his/her cockpit.

Value: Having complete checklists available in the palm of your hand for preflight checking and during flight is a great convenience to every pilot.
Would I Buy Again: Absolutely!
Learning Curve: If you're familiar with iPhone/iTouch operation, this application will present no problem for you. However, entering data from the Owner's Manuals for additional aircraft checklists will take some time.
Who is it for: The full time pilot or the weekend warrior will welcome the ease of operation, convenience of size, and added safety offered by this program.
What I like: The emphasis on using checklists in all aviation makes this program an essential addition to any pilot's flying tools.
What I Don't: I didn't see much that was missed by this program in keeping the pilot safe.
Final Statement: Aircheck affords the consciencious pilot safety checklists for all aspects of preparing for and conducting a safe flight! A welcome addition to any pilot's flying tools.
