Knights OnRush is a light hearted, fun filled, action paced, and violent game.  It’s Pocket God with attitude.  It’s a fun game where you get to burn knights and feed people to dragons.

The goal of the game is to defend your castle against an onslaught of various people–knights, knights on horse back, and some guy that throws explosive barrels (a terrorist? A monk? I’m not really sure)

Like Pocket God, you have a variety of ways to hurt the "little guys".  Quickly flicking the enemy will kill them (whereas a gently flick however merely stuns them); you can pick them up and put them on a hook for the dragon to eat, or you can put them in a pit of fire.

As you progress through the days (screens), you can upgrade your castle with "boring" power ups (like a stronger door to add more strength to your castle), or "fun" powerups like fireballs to burn the people, stones to throw at them, or even a column that can descend from the sky and squash them all like bugs!

The game play is very challenging (I have yet to clear the first level) and controls are pretty good.  The only problem I had was picking certain people out of a crowd of attackers–with so many people, it would occasionally pick the wrong one.  But that’s to be expected with sooooo many people and big klutzy fingers like mine.

Quick Take

Value: High

Would I Buy Again:  Yes, it’s challenging and a lot of fun.

Learning Curve:  It took a little bit to get used to the controls, but once I got it, the game was a piece of cake.

Who Is It For: People that liked Pocket God, and fast pasted games (not neccessarily action games though)

What I Like: Dragons? Fire pits?Flinging people? What’s not to like?

What I Don’t:  The game’s definately challenging, and a bit too violent for my 4 year old.

Final Statement:  This is a great game–high replay value, and should make you laugh a little too.
