There’s shot ’em ups, jumping/leveling games, and then there’s a game like StoneLoops! of Jurassica. I don’t really know what genere this fits into; to me it’s more like Tetris/Remove ‘Em than anything else.
As the screen starts, red, green, blue, and yellow marbles come ‘roling’ along the path pushed by some sort of dino/robot. Swiping your finger back and forth moves your character across the bottom of the screen. Letting go shoots whatever color marble he’s holding towards the path of the advancing marbles. Get 3 (or more) in a row and they are removed from the path. Clear all the marbles before the reach the big dino head at the end and you clear the screen.
To add to the excitment, there’s you’re standard fare of powerups–stop the marbles from moving, reverse them, clear several away, etc.
The reviews in iTunes made it sound like the best game EVER. It was good, but not THAT good. I could definately blow a few hours playing it before I got bored though.
