Our Review:

I have found the iPhone to be a great gaming platform.  I have also found that I do not spend long periods of time gaming on my phone.  Puzzle games have become one of my favorite genres.  The gameplay can be rather short, but also challenging and fun.  Unblock Me proves to be both.  Although each level can be fairly short, the game might become addictive enough to hold you there for a while.  The free version of this game is a generous offering.  The developers included 400 puzzles and two difficulty modes.  The $.99 version includes 800 levels and four difficulty levels.  Most free versions of play games do not include such a large amount of the full game.

The game is straight forward yet challenging and fun.  As you can see from the screen shot, there is a series of wood blocks.  The red block is the focus of the puzzle.  There is an open spot in the board on the upper right.  The goal is to take the red block and move it out of that open spot and move on to the next level.

As the game progresses, the levels increase in diffuculty.  I did find that after playing 20 or so levels, I became better at the game, understanding the stragetigies used to clear the levels.  With 400 levels, the game offers many small break gameplays before reaching the end.

I am guessing the levels are replayable as I would not think anyone will be memorizing them.

The game is fun, well made, and challenging enough to keep you coming back.  Go download and check it out.  You will probably find the paid version to be worth buying.

Quick take:
Value:  Very high!
Would I buy again?  Yep.  Will probably buy the paid version.
Learning Curve:  Small.  There is a learning curve in puzzle solving, but using the app is straight forward.
Who is it for?  Puzzle fans as well as casual gamers.
What I like:  The large number of puzzles available.  Challenging and enjoyable gameplay.
What I don't:  More time to play!
