The ONLY White Noise Generator that that uses mathematical sound algorithms to generate any color of noise. All sounds are generated dynamically! Popular uses for White Noise Generators include sleep aids, enhancing privacy, blocking distractions, masking tinnitus, configuring audio equipment, soothing migraines, and more!

The sounds that can be generated are red/brown, pink, white, blue, violet/purple, and all colors in between. Includes low and high pass filters, sound wave graph, and sound shutoff timer. The shutoff timer can be set to a specific time or countdown. Timer options include volume fader during last minute and application exit to save battery life.

White noise is a random signal with a flat power spectral density. In other words, the signal contains equal power within a fixed bandwidth at any center frequency. White noise draws its name from white light in which the power spectral density of the light is distributed over the visible band in such a way that the eye's three color receptors (cones) are approximately equally stimulated.

Red Noise, also called Brown noise, refers to a power density which decreases 6 dB per octave with increasing frequency (density proportional to 1/f 2)[2] over a frequency range which does not include DC (Direct Current).

Pink Noise has a frequency spectrum that is flat in logarithmic space; it has equal power in bands that are proportionally wide.

Blue Noise has a power density that increases 3 dB per octave with increasing frequency (density proportional to f ) over a finite frequency range.

Violet noise, also called purple noise, has a power density that increases by 6 dB per octave with increasing frequency.

Sound algorithms developed with the help of an auditory neuroscientist from Johns Hopkins University.
