Two weeks after Evasi0n release here are our favorite Jailbreak tweaks

Even though it isn’t something we discuss regularly many of our readers and myself included jailbreak their iOS devices. Since the release of the iPhone 5 I have been missing my jailbreak tweaks like a child misses their blanket.

Thankfully with the release of Evasi0n jailbreak iOS 6 I am back on a jailbroken device. What I find great about the latest jailbreak is the ease with which it is done, simply connect your iDevice and click one button and there it is.

Since the release of evasi0n two weeks ago I have downloaded several tweaks and themes, some of them I have kept since then and some I hated immediately and removed within minutes of downloading them. Here are some of my favorite Cydia tweaks, let me know if you think I have forgotten any.

BiteSMS

This was the absolutely first tweak I installed, and perhaps the main reason why I Jailbreak my iPhone!

Springtomize 2

If you ever wanted to change the way your SpringBoard looks then Springtomize 2 is your new best friend. It provides a whole bunch of different options to modify almost all aspects of your device. When combined with Winterboard there is really nothing you can’t tweak and customize to your own personal settings, what’s better is that unlike other tweaks this one has a great and very user friendly interface.

Full Force

Even though the iPhone 5 has been on the market for a while now there are still lots of developers who for some reason haven’t updated their apps to support the whole screen. And thats what Full Force changes, this tweak stretches the iPhone apps to fit the new iPhone 5 display. However beware, not all apps look nice when stretched, some don’t even work at all, you you will have to test what app works and what app doesn’t.

Winterboard

Similar to Springtomize 2 Winterboard allows you to customize the look and feel of your SpringBoard. With Winterboard you can theme your springboard to look exactly like you want it to. You can change how your  iPhone icons look and feel, you can customize how applications work, as well as what appears on the status bar, hell it even allows you to customize sounds on your iPhone. With Winterboard you can theme almost everything that comes to your mind.

Dashboard X

Did you ever wish you could see the weather directly from your Springboard? well with Dashboard X that now becomes possible, there are widgets for almost anything you can think of. Setting them up is easy enough, and it really does take the efficiency of your iPhone or iPad screen to another level.

Auxo

Did you ever wish you could actually see the apps you have open on your iPhone, not possible with regular iOS 6, all you get is an icon, and no live screen preview, well now thanks to Auxo you can actually see the apps you have open in little screen previews. However there is much more to Auxo, if you swipe the other way then you are greeted with a whole selection of shortcut buttons, offering options such as switching Airplane Mode on and off, toggling Wi-Fi and locking the screen rotation.
