I have installed or have tried almost all handwriting apps out there. I use my iPad to take notes and for reading, and you can see I have a problem: How do I take notes when I’m reading in my iPad?
Use Your Handwriting answers this question nicely. The app is prepared for nested lists… Currently I have a first list with titles, and then one with chapters. And then my notes. Which are awesomely rendered. The odd-looking neon ink (which I have set for white over black) is very smooth in my iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and I can easily take notes of any length.
Use Your Handwriting uses the increasingly common screen sliding mode. You write with your finger, and when you get to boundary… The screen slides and you can keep writing. And it has a quick writing mode, where the sliding is not shown and just moves, if you are a very fast writer.
And in case you are wondering, you can export your text in black over white as email attachments. All in all, this is the best handwriting app for iPhone, and I have checked almost all handwriting apps. If you know one better than this, tell me. Oh, did I mention there is a free version for you to try? No? Well, you can try if you want, but there is no need: buy the full version.
