Your smartphone is now smart enough to tap into the mystical realm of palm reading, predicting your future through a few simple taps. Or at least, that is what Palm Reading Booth promises its users. As a non-believer of palmistry and other forms of divination, my instinctive reaction was to question the legitimacy of the app. However, in the name of good fun, Palm Reading Booth does entertain quite a fair bit.
To get your palm read, simply get a snapshot of said palm taken by aligning your palm with the dotted lines on the screen. After that, simply sit back and watch the cool animations as Palm Reading Booth proceeds to interpret your future.
A nifty extra feature would be the ability to save predictions, whereby you can back up premonitions for future reference.
Palm Reading Booth is more or less foolproof, as the app does most of the work for you. However, the credibility of the app is called into question when two different results were given upon the scanning of the same hand. However, the app description does mention that Palm Reading Booth is for entertainment purposes only so please do take it with a pinch of salt.
Although an entertaining app, Palm Reading Booth is not worth the $0.99 it costs. While this app is sure to create gasps of shock and marvel at group outings or parties, its novelty wears off rather quickly and is something I would not pay a dollar for.
