When a user downloads the Birdbrain app they will begin to immediately track and update statistics about their account at Twitter. This occurs every twenty minutes while the app is open and running. Every single user that is either following or being followed by an account will appear in the app interface, and those with a plus sign are new to the network while those with a minus have been removed from it.

The app user simply taps any of their friends or followers to get full details about that individual’s Twitter account too. Changes such as following and un-following can be done with a single tap of the device as well. The statistics page lets the user see how many updates have been done, how many followers have been blocked, and how many they are following themselves.
