The word “offline” in the title of Galileo Offline Maps is a tad misleading. The offline feature is only available with an in-app purchase.
A GPS navigation app, Galileo Offline Maps comes with the standard software you would expect from a typical navigation app and on its own is not really much to rave about. Its charm lies in the ability to customize the application to your needs via additional in-app purchases.
In Galileo Offline Maps, users only pay for what they need and nothing more. As a result, users may choose from a list of functions from the in-app purchases menu (the offline function inclusive) and purchase only the add-ons that they require.
Essentially a free app, Galileo Offline Maps is pretty decent to use. However, given that the gist of it lies in the additional perks provided by in-app purchases, the free base version provided through the initial download is not much to rave about. Without the additional in-app unlockables, I would personally prefer to use the default and built-in Google Maps function to this one.

Select only what you need, when you need it. Use the powerful, free base version or customize your maps with in-app purchases for additional functionality.
You'll also love the way Galileo Offline Maps keeps all your records organized. Bookmarks and recorded GPS tracks tend to accumulate over time and eventually need to be sorted. Galileo Offline Maps makes it easy to organize your travel itineraries, add descriptions and export them to a variety of formats. It only takes a second to find the record you need and get moving.
