Ravenous Games has ben churning out buckets of quality games over the last year. Most of them follow a similar formula: find a gameplay gimmick and then build a short game that utilizes this gimmick. The asking price of $.99 you get a couple of hours of fun.
Infestor is right in line with this building plan. You take on the role of a slimy parasite that is able to infest humans and make them do your bidding. Each level is a platforming puzzle game where you must use the unique abilities of each human to each the end. Not only are there a seemingly endless number of things to kill you, but you can very easily get stuck if you kill of an infested human too early or in the wrong order.
The controls are super each with a left/right on one side and a jump/infest on the other. When infesting a human with a gun you get a third button for shooting. At first I found the buttons to be spaced too close together and I was miss tapping at inopportune times. Lucky Ravenous Games has a great options area where you can tweak and move each button on the screen to your liking.
Infestor delivers a fun concept that I feel is underutilized in the current game. The levels themselves don’t really feel difficult until right near the end. I think that while I had a fair amount of fun with Infestor and the price is right for what you get, I am still lefts with a nagging feeling that this game had potential to be an amazing game.

As the INFESTOR you need to reach the exit in each level by taking over your enemies and controlling their body. Each human has a special ability associated with it that you will need to take advantage of to overcome obstacles.
