Spaceteam is what the name suggests. Space based, team game and it’s something to be played in real life.
To start off, players are assigned small teams they work in to coordinate their ship. The motion of game play is simple, you have a spaceship traveling at a great speed. However, it’s falling apart due to some unknown damage being sustained earlier on. Simulating an actual ship crew, you and your teammate will have to coordinate with each other and get the ship smooth and running. All this, with a clock ticking down.
Sounds tough? Now add in the competition.
Each individual is given his own control panel with varying sets of instructions. One teammate is required to convey the instruction to his partner, where the other executes the moves dictated by the game. These usually involved shouting across the room and turning virtual knobs and sliders.
Spaceteam makes for a great activity at gatherings. Instead of having everyone quietly sit down and engage in social media, it allows for iOS users to do something tangible and have fun at the same time. A free app, I strongly recommend that this app be publicized and promoted throughout. It’ll definitely provide many a good hour of old fashioned fun.
Quick Take

Would I Buy Again:Yes
Learning Curve:Moderate. Self explanatory
Who Is It For:Gatherings and bonding moments
What I Like:The interactivity of the game
What I Don't Like:NA
Final Statement:I'm definitely getting all my friends to download this at our next gathering
Spaceteam is a cooperative party game for 2 to 4 players who shout technobabble at each other until their ship explodes. Each player needs a mobile device (phone, tablet, iPod Touch, etc).
You'll be assigned a random control panel with buttons, switches, sliders, and dials. You need to follow time-sensitive instructions. However, the instructions are being sent to your teammates, so you have to coordinate before the time runs out. Also, the ship is falling apart. And you're trying to outrun an exploding star.
Good luck. And remember to work together... as a Spaceteam!
