Apple iCloud Goes After iOS 7 And Switches To A New Interface
iOS operating system will soon jump to version 7, which will bring the first major design change since its launch, so it was expected that the iCloud online service to go through the same transformation. Available now in beta, it offers iOS users the ability to see the direction iCloud is heading.
The most important change that will occur in iCloud it was already presented, the online suite iWork for iCloud allowing users of the Pages, Numbers and Keynote applications not only to synchronize documents between versions for iOS and OS X, but also to edit them directly in the browser.
iCloud Beta version currently focuses solely on aesthetic changes, using the icons, fonts and other graphic elements observed in beta versions of iOS 7 operating system. From a functional perspective, the only novelty is the menu for quick navigation between applications, a better work than returning to the main menu and the option to run an animated wallpaper which is not even enabled by default.
All Web applications benefit from new interfaces, but at the moment it does not cover new faculties and modes, which, especially in the slow email client, it is disappointing. The new version of iCloud will be completed, most likely in time to accompany the launch of iOS 7, so we will reserve our criticism for that time.
