User Rating:You know how pretty much every other driving based game has these high performance muscle cars that promise unique driving experiences and top speeds but are honestly a dime a dozen? Well Bus Derby provides something that is actually unique.
You race buses.
Don’t expect fancy pimped out Lambos here running around at 200mph, instead you have a whole row of buses ranging from tour to school buses waiting to make it to the finish line. Controls are pretty much the same as all race games, with accelerating and braking options imprinted on the screen. The buses obviously don’t move too fast, and while this may seem boring at first, the game more than makes up for it by adding in certain elements.
I’m talking about turning the game into a massive bumper car experience. Think of it as Burnout meets Daytonna with the cheesy graphics but encouragement to smash your opponents around. The fun part of the game lies in causing massive pile ups from crashing your bus around.
While simple, this proved to be an addictive experience.
Quick Take
