The name of this game does no justice to the wonders within.
Giant Boulder of Death is the ultimate stress reliever. What better way to end an angst ridden day by rolling, tumbling and rumbling over a mountainous range, crushing everything in your path?
What attracted me immediately to this game was the visual appeal. I was allowed to choose between avatars to represent my boulder, ranging from an actual boulder to a pumpkin lantern bearing a really cheeky smile. A daunting warning for all that would dare cross its path.
The premise of game is really simple; that is to destroy and smash as many things as possible. Each act of destruction accumulate points, and it’s a real awesome feeling to yourself rewarded by smashing things for a change. Of course, the game attempts to spice things up by having challenges and goals to complete, but these really do little to boost actual gameplay. You will find yourself trying to beat your old high scores more than attempting ridiculous missions.
It’s a free app, so just give it a download. This is the type of game I’d whip out every time I have a couple of minutes to spare.
