The iKnow Dogs app offers up full information and images of the 164 AKC (American Kennel Club) breeds. There are more than 700 pictures of the dogs along with details about their appearance, temperament, AKC group, and their historic origins. There are also tabs for information about celebrity dogs, the top breeds, and dogs in popular culture.

Favorites can be selected and referred to even when the device is offline. App users are also encouraged to use the built-in photo feature to submit images of their dog in order to update and enhance the images already available in the app.
