It is a case of you and your flower beds versus an invading troop of the un-dead. The Plants vs Zombies app pits the player and their extremely unique flowers against a range of different zombies. Players of the Plants vs Zombies app will have to master each level in order to upgrade and power up their arsenal of specialty flowers and plants.

The game has 50 different levels of Adventure Modes, and there are eventually a whopping 26 types of zombies to combat. Each Zombie has special skills that might include everything from pole-vaulting to sea diving, and the 49 different plants must be used to eliminate them.

The plants too will require some success to unlock and use, and an amusing Almanac can be read for special tips about the many creatures inhabiting the game. Dedicated players will eventually receive a possible 13 achievement awards, and any level is open for replay in the Arena mode. There is also an innovative and original soundtrack to make the game even more entertaining.

There are other apps offering Zombie challenges, but the Plants vs Zombies app is truly unique in its many varieties of creatures that will all compete for survival.
