How difficult can it be to bounce a single object over some moving obstacles? The Impossible Game app will show you exactly how tricky and tough it can be to maneuver through such an environment. Players of The Impossible Game app need to prepare themselves for a bit of a learning experience before they will be able to master each of the increasingly more difficult levels.

There is only a single control to master – which is tapping the icon on the screen at the appropriate moments – and the player must make their game piece leap over floating triangles and across chasms or return to the starting position. Any collision or falls results in evaporation and the player will then start all of the way back at the beginning of the current level.

The soundtrack adds to the experience with its quick tempo and cheery pace. There is a practice mode, and players who can get through a few levels without being evaporated will begin earning medals and unlocking prizes. There is a helpful stats page that can also be posted to Facebook or Twitter too.

There are a few equally simple and yet surprisingly difficult games, such as Tractor Beam and OddBlob, but The Impossible Game app is a consistent fan and industry favorite.
