User Rating:LinQsta does away with the need for physical business cards with the implementation and utilization of QR codes to share your details.
To start off, LinQsta requires users to register for an account on their website before it can be used. My only gripe about this app would be that the registration system has to be done on their website itself because the app lacks a built-in registration system to do so directly. Users are then prompted to enter personal information such as their contact details, a brief description of themselves, etc., which they wish to make public as part of their contact card.
The registration process requires users to fill up details that are strictly optional, whereby it is up to the user’s discretion to share said particulars.
LinQsta then generates a QR code immediately for the user to distribute, where scanning of said code presents the pre-described information neatly in a systematic layout.
The app also comes with a built-in QR code scanner for users to scan codes generated by other users.
By scanning such a code, LinQsta will bring up the contact information of the person who created it and users can then choose to save their contact information for future reference either onto the app itself, or directly upon their device’s default Contacts app. Links to the sender’s social networks are also made available via icons at the bottom of the screen.
LinQsta also allows for status updates that users can post to update their followers on the latest happenings.
At $0.99, LinQsta is a very nifty app to have for business executives and other working professionals alike. The app allows for extended networking to take place by allowing users to share details with their professional networks.
We rate this app 4 out of 5 stars.
