Now, THIS is the board game turned app that you’ve been waiting for. Talisman Prologue HD is a great way to explore the land of Talisman via single-player campaigns. Roll the dice and then draw a card, but do so in a beautifully drawn, digital style.
The Good
There’s a lot of fun to be had with Talisman Prologue HD. I love that it takes the basic gameplay from the board game and adds incredibly rich graphics; it is a great way to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary. While Talisman isn’t the original fantasy series board game, it is one of the best. The soundtrack for the game is excellent; it’s epic, and sounds incredible. Gameplay is simple and approachable, with a very small learning curve. This is one of those games that you can easily get lost in and lose all track of time.
The Bad
It’s hard to find much wrong with Talisman Prologue HD, but there are a couple of minor flaws. For one, the game is only playable as a solo-campaign. However, Thumbstar promises that multiplayer is on the way. Secondly, there are no game saves, and Talisman is a game that can’t be played fully in a short amount of time.

Talisman Prologue HD is a truly enjoyable mobile game that takes the classic Talisman board game and breathes new breath into the fantasy board game genre. It is easy to pick-up and play, and you’ll definitely find yourself spending hours of your time with your head in your phone or tablet. At only $4.99, it is well worth it for the amount of time you’ll be playing the game.
