Privates! app allows you to send what you want to send without the fear of it getting out to anyone other than who you send it to. I was skeptical at first, but it truly does what it says it does.
The notable features of Privates! include end-to-end security, screenshot protection, HIPAA compliant, and recall ability. If you are in need of sending secure texts, images or videos this is definitely an app you need to have. The security features of this app includes a patent pending screenshot protection piece, and to be honest…. if you somehow figure out a way to screenshot something in this app I bow down to you! They have this part completely covered!
Adding friends is as easy as searching for their name, phone number or their Privates! ID number. You have the ability to send a text, photo, or video. When sending something to one of your contacts you choose to place the security level to Mild, Wild, or Insane.
A Mild message will expire after 24 hours, Wild expires after 12, and Insane in 3 hours. If you’re worried about someone being able to somehow copy the messages you send, don’t worry! Receivers cannot read their messages if their phone is connected to a computer.
For a healthcare professional or any other professional that needs to send confidential information via text, Privates! is the perfect app to use. Also, anyone who enjoys sending the more risqué photos and video may benefit from it as well.
Just keep in mind viewing your messages are not as easy as opening up iMessage – there’s a bit more to it. If you inadvertently send a message to the wrong person or if you decide after sending you have the option of recalling it – provided it hasn’t been read yet.
As a super private messaging app Privates! is incredible. The level of security is impressive, and a messaging app that is HIPAA-compliant takes it one step further.
