If you regularly use FedEx for business, or even personal shipping needs, you will definitely want to get the FedEx Mobile app for your mobile device. While it allows easy tracking of shipments and packages, it can also be used for a wide array of other reasons. The FedEx Mobile app provides a truly personalized view of an existing shipper’s account and allows the user to create shipping labels directly through the app.
Users can head to the FedEx website to get information from an existing address book, obtain accurate quotes for shipments of any size or type, receive alerts and notifications when shipments have been delivered, and even locate the nearest FedEx offices and various service centers.
Users can even leave feedback for FedEx through this app as well. The user interface in the app also allows for shipments to receive custom names and have notes added for later review by the shipper. Additionally, a watch list can be created in order to streamline the user’s monitoring of their pending shipments or deliveries.
Although there are several tracking apps, like the Package Tracker, for Android, Blackberry, Nokia, Palm, Symbian, Windows Mobile, iPhone and iPod Touch devices, this is the only one that is FedEx specific and linkable to existing accounts at the company’s website.
