Amazon Instant Video now available on iPad

Amazon Instant Video is another great offering by Amazon. For the Amazon Prime subscribers, this is good news considering that you can gain access to all the videos that are connected with the Amazon Prime account. Downloaded and streamed video-on-demand is also made possible through the Amazon Instant Video and this is a very good update considering that the company had just updated its cloud music player.

Some of the features incorporated to the Amazon Instant Video app includes watchlist or queue, automatic access to shows with Season Pass and a few other things. The Amazon Instant Video app for iPad will also compete with the likes of Netflix as well as Hulu Plus that has made its debut earlier this week on the Apple TV platform.

Amazon had certainly paid a lot of attention onto making this application because it doesn’t look like a new app but rather one that has been around for quite some time already. As we mentioned before, this app is made available only on the iPad but we certainly expect that a version for both the iPod Touch and the iPhone to be made available soon enough. For those that have been waiting, it is just a matter of time.
