Whether we like it or not, iPad products were the first that convince a significant number of buyers, and Apple has managed to win an impressive market share and established the tablet market that we see today. Its market share figures are not as they were two years ago, but with the 170 million iPads sold, Apple is still the most powerful player from the market.

Besides the new iPad Air, Apple has released at the conference on October 22 the second generation of 7.9 inch iPad Mini tablet with Retina Display this time, to the delight of all. As expected, Apple has finally released the new iPad mini with Retina display which has an amazing resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels at a diagonal of just 7.9 inches.

The new tablet has the same 64-bits A7 processor that we found both on the new iPad Air, also announced today and in the new iPhone 5S, presented in September. iPad mini with Retina display will have a price starting from $399 for the WiFi version with 16GB storage capacity and will be released in stores from the first wave of countries in November.

Meanwhile, Apple drops the price of the first generation of iPad mini tablet at only $299 for the 16GB Wi-Fi version.

iPad mini with Retina display will be available in silver or space gray starting on Friday, November 1.
