Apple turns over entire inventory every five days
It’s never been a secret that Apple has low inventory turnover, according to a report from research firm Gartner Apple has an inventory turn metric of 74, in layman terms that means that the Cupertino company turns over its entire inventory once every five days, when you consider the industry Apple operates in thats a pretty amazing number.
In its eighth annual Supply Chain Top 25 report Gartner analysts once again ranked Apple’s supply chain as the best in the world, with an industry-leading 20.2 percent return on assets for the past three years as well as three-year revenue growth of more than 50%
Apple stood out with a inventory turnover period of five days, only beaten by McDonalds with 142.4 inventory turns or 2.5 days to turnover the entire inventory.
