Google+ iOS app updated with Auto Enhance, Hangouts, related hashtags, more
Google released a new update to its Google+ app for iPhone and iPad. The user interface remains essentially, untouched. However, this latest release incorporates integrated hashtags, enhanced comments, auto photo enhancement, plus better highlighting. It also gives the user more control in editing their own profile and allows them to copy permalinks from posts to their device clipboards.
The app also allows users to upload new cover photos for their profile page as well as change profile pictures. To use Google terminology, one of the ‘Auto-Awesome’ features that this update comes with is an Auto Enhance feature which makes adjustments to saturation and contrast of photos uploaded to a Google+ account, instantly. Another ‘auto-awesome’ treat is a motion effect feature that converts a set of photos that are shot in sequence into a brief repeating animation. Now how is that for Google+ awesomeness?
