The Great WOiP Giveaway: Organization Day – Who Do YOU Want To Jott?

I love Jott  and use it all the time.

Back when we first started this site I  chronicled of my search to determine which of the  iPhone voice to text services worked best for me. Ultimately, it is Jott that I use every single day. I use it to send messages to my assistant and, more often, to simply send messages to myself. Jott is particularly useful when I’m in the car and think of something that I must remember. I start Jott’s  iPhone application or I call Jott’s  number and start to speak. My Jott Pro plan gives me 30 seconds of recording time. That’s usually enough time for a brief  message and  when it’s not, I just called back. Yes,  there are many days when I am a "serial Jotter".

After so many months using the service, "Who do you want to Jott?"  is now burned into my memory along with "Have it your way",  "Where’s the beef?", and "I want my MTV."

Jott came out of beta a number of months back. It was only reasonable that at some point they would need to move in a direction toward profitability. Some people grumbled about the pricing plan,  mostly, I suspect, because they were used to getting the service for free. I happen to think the  company  came up with incredibly fair plan. If you want to use Jott  for free there is still an option to do so. In fact, that option even includes the iPhone application! If, however, you want the option to leave longer messages and to have them e-mailed to you (if you use the "call in" approach  since the iPhone application doesn’t do that)  you can choose one of the other plans. They begin at just $3.95 a month.

I opted for an annual Jott Pro plan and think it’s a good value.  For that I get to leave messages that are 30 seconds long, I can use Jott  for iPhone,  Blackberry, Outlook, and Jott Express.  I have access to all of the Jott Links  (there are too many to mention) and each time I leave a message in e-mails it to me.

The good folks at Jott  have been kind enough to offer a one-year subscription to the plan of one WOiP reader’s choice. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity and think this is one great giveaway. What better prize during our "Get Organized in 2009" giveaway.

To enter to win tell us what three organizational app (in addition to Jott,  of course) are most useful to you and why.
