Interesting App Store stats: 60 apps downloaded per device sold.
By As we reach 10 billion downloads on the App Store Horace Dediu of asymco decided to revisit app growth metrics. While his September 2010 prediction that app downloads would out number music downloads by the end of 2010 didn’t come true the stats are impressive any way.
One of the most impressive is the fact that 60 apps are downloaded for every iPhone, iPad, and iPod sold. Check out this graphic:
