iOS 5 beta 4 brings the ability to synchronize the documents from applications directly with iCloud
Starting with iOS 5 beta 4 Apple offers users the ability to synchronize with the iCloud service documents made with third-party applications.
Basically if you make a document with one of the iWork applications or the ones for editing Office or PDF documents, that document will be automatically synchronized with iCloud.
Of course timing is for each application and in case of a restore the application would need to be reinstalled in the terminal for documents to be displayed there.
Apps make it possible to create amazing presentations, write reports, and more right from your iOS device. You don’t have to manage your documents in a complicated file system or remember to save your work. Your documents are just there, stored in your apps, and ready whenever you need them. And now, your apps can store that information in iCloud. Which means you can access your documents — with your latest updates — on whichever device you happen to be using at the time. Even better, this all happens automatically, without any effort from you.
The documents synchronization will work both through Wi-Fi and 3G and will be made on all devices which are logged with the same iCloud account. Basically if we have the same iCloud account logged both on iPhone and iPad and have the same applications installed on both devices then the documents will be automatically displayed on both terminals with all the changes. Apple’s system is very useful for those who work constantly with documents on their devices and need them both on a Mac and a PC.
