iPhone causes scare on board an Australian flight

PC Mag is reporting that a flight crew had to extinguish a smoking, glowing iPhone on one of their flights. Regional Express said a passengers iPhone started emitting dense smoke and glowing red, which is generally cause for concern.
It is not known if the iPhone is of the 4 or 4S variety. Some folks are blaming this incident on battery problems, which were brought to the forefront with the 4S.
In the end nobody was injured and hopefully the cause of the smoking iPhone will be determined in due time.
