Microsoft releases SmartGlass on iOS

Last week we told you that Sony had release an app to accompany their new Playstation 4, now Microsoft has released an Xbox One-compatible version of its SmartGlass app to accompany their new gaming console.
According to the app iTunes site:
Xbox One SmartGlass is the perfect companion app for your Xbox One, both in your living room and on the go. Connect and control your Xbox One. Stay connected with the games and gamers you like. And add a new dimension to your console entertainment with the mobile device you already own.
Similar to the PlayStation app, Xbox One SmartGlass allows users to search for and browse games for when they get home. The app also grants users access to Xbox Live for achievement tracking and messaging.
Xbox One SmartGlass can be downloaded from the App Store and is free, however you will have to wait until the Xbox One ships before being able to use it.
