Motorola DROID RAZR Review and Specs
In the high-end class of smartphone, we can see each of vendor try to impress the costumer with their newest innovation. Recently, Motorola has impress us with the launching of their newest phone, Motorola DROID RAZR. With 130.7 x 68.9 x 7.1 mm dimension, Motorola DROID RAZR is confirmed to be the thinnest 4G LTE phone in the market. But don’t take this phone lightly. Made with KEVLAR® fiber and scratch-resistant Corning® Gorilla® Glass, it can be categorized as the phone with the finest material out there. Super AMOLED display and dual-core processor make this phone stand out in high-end smartphone today. Launched in November 11, 2011 this phone has been one of the most “appealing” smartphone since it’s only bundled with $299.99 for its beautiful design and sophisticated technology.
Motorola DROID RAZR still use 4.3″ qHD (540 x 960) display with Gorilla Glass. This display is also used in Motorola DROID BIONIC and DROID X2. What makes it special is the feature of Super AMOLED panel instead of a traditional LCD that is produce better display quality. But the 256 ppi pixel density is far behind HTC Rezound that use 342 ppi pixel density. The camera interface of this phone is not far different from DROID 3 and DROID BIONIC since it uses MOTOBLUR . With 8-megapixel auto-focus camera, DROID RAZR can produce decent picture on both indoor and outdoor, but a bit disappointing in recording high-definiton video.
Using 1,780 mAh battery to support its 4G LTE with Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) and Super AMOLED Advanced qHD(540 x 960), Motorola DROID RAZR is able to manage 12.5 hours of talk time and 10 hours of normal usage. Not so impressive but better than any other smartphone. With its features and sophisticated thin yet strong body, Motorola DROID RAZR is recommended for them who want to hold powerful smartphone with premium construction.
