New In The App Store – WDHA (and a piece of personal nostalgia)

During my teens years in North Jersey in the early 80s there was only one radio station worth mentioning- 105.5 WDHA The Rock of New Jersey! (back then it was the Rock of North Jersey).
WDHA served up the best rock, had the coolest DJs and offered something else that would have kept the RIAA up late at night– at 11pm they played a full LP (that’s Long play (LP) record albums for you kids out there) each night with just one break between sides.
Yup, I didn’t know any better and night after night I would stay up late enough to hit record on a 90 minute Memorex cassette before going to sleep. (I know, I know… for shame.)
Anyhow, WDHA was directly responsible for my lifelong love of rock so seeing an iPhone app for it brought back tons of good memories.
Now you don’t have to BE in Jersey to rock like it…
The app is simple and streamlined (read, has few features) but, hey, we’re talking WDHA, the Rock of New Jersey here so what could be bad????
