Bad news for Plants vs. Zombies fans!
We were a little excited at the beginning of this month, when PopCap confirmed that the sequel to their hit game, Plants vs. Zombies, will hit the App Store on July 18th. With less than a month left, the official Twitter account has broken their fans’ hearts with the below tweet. Yes, the new ‘backyard Zombie warfare’ will have to wait till this summer.
Plants vs. Zombies 2, originally slated for a July 18th release, will now be released later in the summer. Stay tuned for more details.

Let me refresh your memory a bit. Here are the details revealed by PopCap on their new release, Plants vs. Zombies 2: Its about time.
“New worlds with new levels, plants, zombies and new ways to play will be released on an ongoing basis. Leveraging the touch interface of Apple’s popular mobile devices, Plants vs. Zombies 2 includes all-new touch-screen power-ups that enable players to “break the fourth wall” and interact with zombies directly, as well as via plant defenses.”
