Things to know about iPad Mini

An Apple event is set to be available on October 23 and it is expected that a few devices will make its debut. Amongst them is the iPad mini as well as the 13-inch Retina display MacBook Pro. While we don’t cover much about the MacBook Pro, there is much that we can talk about the iPad Mini. One of it is its price and the others are its possible specifications.

The iPad Mini is expected to have a starting price of $329. This is much higher than the initial expected price point of between $200 to $300. This is due to the fact that Apple has always had a premium ecosystem with its App Store and its operating system. Besides the price tag, it is expected that the iPad Mini to use the A5 processor that powers the current iPad 2 and the 5^th gen iPod Touch. As far as the RAM is concerned, it is expected to have a 512MB much like the iPad 2.

There is also the rumor that it will be powered with a 0.7MP back-facing camera as well as a 0.3MP camera. The storage capacity is between 8GB to 64GB. In addition to that, the iPad Mini is also expected to use the new Lightning connector.
