Why don’t you add some Christmas to the Bejewelled game? Replace gems with candies and Candy Crush is what you get.
The gameplay might be obvious to you now. A variety of candies arranged on a grid. Swap adjacent ones to get atleast 3 in a row and they get crushed.
Get 4 in a row for a special covered candy. Crush it again and the entire row or column gets a boom! Get five in a row for the mixed candy and use it instead of any other candy. Swap two supercandies and you’re in for a surprise.
You have five lives to begin with and once you loose them by failing, you have to wait 30 minutes till it reappears. So don’t even think of throwing away lives as each costs 99 cents.
Initial levels are a kids play but later comes the villain – number of moves. Certain squares are jellified and you have to blast them all, within a given number of moves, else say bye-bye to your candy fiesta.
Clever developers have include in-app purchases for additional moves in case you’re stuck on a level. Other items on the menu are charms (Charm of Life, Charm of frozen time, Charm if stripes etc), lollipop hammers (to beat away desired candies) and boosters (jelly fish, color bomb).
The animations are fantastic while sound effects do their part well. Occassional comments like sweet, tasty, delicious etc keeps you engaged while the landscape support is surprisingly welcome. Though the game is unbeleivably addicitve, if you are planning to go the distance, consider some donations for the developers.
