Remember when Siri was first introduced on iPhone 4S? People where greatly amazed that a phone could have its own personality. We see a scaled down version of Siri on CARROT, though not as automated or flexible as the former.
CARROT is a simple ToDo list at its core, but what makes it so irresistible is its peripheral addons. The first thing you’ll notice is the Mood Swings between black or angry and white or happy interface. Be lazy for a day or poke her ocular and you’ll tick her off. While be a workaholic & complete multiple tasks and she’s brighter than ever.
The controls on CARROT are all gestures; swipe down to add a task, swipe a task sideways to mark completed, swipe the sides to bring up the menu. As you complete tasks, more features are unlocked and you climb up in levels (bet you haven’t seen that in a todo app).
In addition, CARROT provides occasional quizzes, riddles, fun facts, anagrams etc to keep you entertained while other times, she wants you to proclaim your laziness to your buddies with a tweet. It is real fun, I can say.
In short, CARROT is a ToDo app which is more than just completing tasks or keeping reminders. It believes in interaction, entertainment and mixing things up. Boasting a fluid interface, intuitive gestures, compelling sound effects and the unique mood swings, CARROT is undoubtedly the best app in its category.
