Big Stone Phone , the creative minds behind apps such as Twittelator Pro, have released their latest app- MobileMix. MobileMix is a portable pocket music studio that allows you to record individual tracks and then play them back at the same time.
As Andrew Stone, Stone’s CEO notes- "With MobileMix you can instantly create new songs. Capture ambient sounds and overlay with your own poetry, singing or raving. Lay down music tracks and you are a one [wo]man band!"
The big news in ebooks today was, of course, the new Amazon Kindle.
Let’s face it, it looks great and is a whole lot better than version 1. Heck, I even bought myself an early b-day gift and it should be here on the 26th!
BUT- that isn’t the only eBook news.
Nope, eReader just got updated to version 2.0 and, as you might expect from the 2.0 designation, it is a biggee!
The update brings-
-Cover art
-User defined categories
-Better bookshelf management
-"Amount read" indicator
-More font choices
and…
-Autoscroll!!!
Folks, if you have not tried eBooks with autoscroll enabled you should. It is a GREAT way to read!!!
Archibald’s Adventures is by far the most fun I have had on my iPhone. In my review, I shared how I thoroughly enjoyed each and every element of the game, even going as far as setting one of the game screenshots as my wallpaper and, more impressively, ignoring the girlfriend altogether.
Now hot on the heels of the game’s latest update, albeit just a minor one (only includes French localization and bug fixes), the good folks of Rake in Grass teamed up with WOiP to tell our readers that they can now experience the awesomeness of Archibald’s Adventures for a much lower price and even for free. The app can be purchased HERE in the App Store for just $4.99, previously at $7.99 and well worth the price tag! A free lite version containing 32 levels is also available HERE. But we are giving you the chance to play the challenging and entertaining levels of Archibald’s Adventures, all 114 of them, for the very low cost of $0.00.
To enter to win a promo code, just ponder a simple question being posed by Rake in Grass to you, the consumer, in hopes that you may provide them with valuable feedback for their next amazing app. Leave a comment below answering the question, "What kind of game would you like to see next on your iPhone/iPod touch?"
WOiP member Derick emailed me earlier tonight to let me know that RSS app Feeds had received a huge update. His email…
Here’s a list of new features/fixes:
1. Navigation is now bottom/middle, just where you wanted it 🙂
2. Seamless, quick sync. The database has been rebuilt and it syncs without hitching on large numbers of feeds.
3. Tagging of posts. This is a first, from what I can tell.
4. Instapaper integration (I don’t know how this managed to make it in, it’s huge). Hit the instapaper button and enter your credentials and it will be added to your instapaper list.
5. Swipe left to star, swipe right to mark read/unread
6. Post preview text
So, basically this has become the best Google Reader syncing iphone app, IMO. Enjoy :
Let’s look at each one by one.
This time they’ve release the ability to synchronize the built-in calendar and contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Now you can…
Synchronize your contacts. Get your Google contacts quickly and easily to your iPhone. With Sync, you can have access to your address book at anytime and place that you need it.
Get calendar alerts. Using your iPhone’s native calendar, you can now access multiple Google calendars, and be alerted for upcoming appointments with sound or vibration.
Similiar to Nuevasync which has worked well for me, Google sync uses the Microsoft© Exchange ActiveSync© protocol. I like being able to stay in the Google family now!
I’ve been finding LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone invaluable in recent weeks. Having the ability to log in to my home iMac whenever I want means I’m able to leave the house carrying only my iPhone more and more. LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone just get an update.
It isn’t a huge update but it does adds improvements for stability and memory handling, while maintaining the best features: options for "screen moves" or "mouse moves" navigation, one-click access and pinch zoom.
Here’s a video showing just how useful it is…
Drin (aka Capt. Barbossa aka Capt. Drin) reviewed… and liked… Crossbones. He ended the review with…
Crossbones is a different kind of card game that will test your matching and un-matching skills. It can make you want to say "Arrr!" or it can make you scream "Arrrgh!"
Now you can see why for yourself. We have a number of promocodes for this terrific game to give away.

I have to admit… I wasn’t blown away by Slacker when it first came out. Since then, though, I’ve been listenning to it ALL THE TIME! This is a great way to see the difference the Plus account makes first hand for a full month instead of the normal 7 days.
