The holidays are behinds us, and as we recover from the blitz of food, and revelry, there is still one Christmas related app that you might find useful for the rest of the winter season. Christmas Gift by Alice Dev team, is a photo effect app that will give your photos a winter style.

Christmas Gift lets you either take a photo, or pick one from the camera roll and then you can “blow” one of 30 effects around the border. The blowing effect is done by picking up the wind noise on the mic. If you find yourself in a particular noisy place you may have to blow directly into the mic (the bottom right side of the iPhone) in order to get the correct effect. You can stop the effect at anytime, or you can complete the border around the entire picture. Christmas Gift has a good variety of borders to choose from. Each one is a holiday/winter theme. Once you have your border set, you can also paint on stars and snow with wipes of your finger. Once you have “winterized” your picture, you can save it back to your camera roll, or share it via email, or Facebook.

Christmas Gift is a simple and entertaining app hat will add cute borders and effects to your holiday pictures. The app does lack twitter, and I don’t know how much you would use this app once the holiday season is done, but the basic app is free. This gives you a frosty border to try out while the full app only costs $.99 as an in-app purchase. Christmas Gift works just as advertised and if winter borders turn your crank, then you will love this fun little app.
