User Rating:This one is as straight forward as it gets. Are you an university student looking for some books for the next academic year? CollegeBooks is for you! It is possible that your nearest store is looting you with overpriced books and the easiest way to find out, is CollegeBooks.
CollegeBooks is like a two-part register, which knows where each book is available and at what price.
From the Home screen, you can choose ‘Find Nearby Bookstores‘ to do exactly what it says. Open the maps and shop for the books at your nearest store. Else, tap the ‘Compare Textbook Prices‘ to detect rip-offs and save some money. Use the ‘Search Book‘ tab to find your text in over 20 online stores, just by entering the title, author or ISBN. ‘My list’ saves your past searches for quick access and you have the help tab with FAQs.
The interface is rather old or default-styled with nothing colorful or spectacular to be impressed with. Nil transition effects, lack of sound responses and the rather awkwardly placed ad, do hinder the overall experience. Yet being free, CollegeBooks is the best at what it is supposed to do and it seems unfair to ask more.

The 2nd part of the app is our textbook price comparison which lets you enter a textbook title, author or ISBN and will tell you how much it costs at all the online stores in seconds. With this info you can then check the brick and mortar stores and see where you can get your textbooks for the lowest price!
