How-to Enable Adobe Flash on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Adobe flash by default is not supported on Apple Mobile Devices. When you are browsing flash-based content websites, you may not see the content, or it will just say that adobe flash is required and need to be installed. Meanwhile, iPhone, iPod and iPad are not allowed to support adobe flash.

Steve Jobs already told his though about flash. He pointed 6 reasons not to allow flash on iPhone, iPod, and iPad. Flash is closed system, Flash is not the only thing that exist on the Internet, Reliability, security and performance issue, battery’s life issue, no-mice, and most important thing is that app developers will face difficulty.

After Apple relaxed the rules, more apps support adobe flash on App Store.

There are several ways to see flash-based website content on iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

1. Install Frash to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This Cydia tweak will let you enable flash content on any websites. Whenever you found flash content on a website, frash will mark the content’s block as flash and simply tap it to see the content.

2. Using iSwifter Browser. Use iSwifter Browser to browse any website with flash content. iSwifter is available for iPad, no iPhone or iPod version yet. The performance is a bit slower than safari. But, all flash content will be automatically loaded, no need to tap manually like using Frash.

3. Skyfire will also let you browsing on flash-based website. Skyfire converts flash to HTML5 and make the content viewable on Apple Mobile Devices. But Skyfire is intended for video streaming.
