We’ve all seen those posts on sites like 9GAG where inconspicuous group photos are altered when some cheeky fellow decides to have the faces of the group replaced with a particular face of his choice. Sounds like a very complicated Photoshop procedure doesn’t it? But with Facebomb, such a task can be accomplished in a matter of mere seconds.
Facebomb makes things very simple by only requiring users to upload photos to the app, then tapping a button to complete the process. Users can choose from their social network images to those stored in their device itself. Following which, Facebomb identifies all faces in the photo and randomly selects one to superimpose upon the other faces. Tapping the button again has the app select another face for the same effect.
Facebomb is also smart enough to rotate, flip, and crop out faces according to what is required. While the app does not boast of finesse from an actual, time-consuming, manual altering process, it does save plenty of time and is awesome for a quick laugh. At times, faces were cropped out crudely and appeared awkwardly pasted over the other heads. However for the most part, Facebomb does a wonderful job in blending faces and heads together.
A little degree of customization is also available where Facebomb allows users to manually scale and rotate faces for better effect.
Priced at $1.99, I definitely recommend the download of this app. Not only will it entertain at group gatherings, it also serves as a wonderful idea for practical pranks to play on friends.
