The game category in the app store is overrun with complex and difficult games. What do you do when ever you want to find a simple puzzle game, how do you go about that? Well there is a fun and simple problem solving app called Fruit Lines that will help fill that need for a fun and simple app.

There isn’t anything complex about Fruit Lines. As the name says the game consists of lines of fruit in a grid. You have fruits like grapes, apples, and bananas that you must line up in pairs of 3. That is the simple premise of this game. Every time you line three identical fruit up they disappear and you are on to trying to find the next match. You can move the lines horizontally and vertically to do so.

There are other almost identical apps, one is called FruitLine and another Fruit Salad Match. They offer the same functionality, but their interface isn’t near as cute and fun to use as Fruit Lines.

Fruit Lines is a free app and is worth more than free. Why wouldn’t you try it at that price point?

It’s a game for all ages, you’ve got nothing to lose except for the time you’ll spend trying to beat the game.
