User Rating:Farmville by Zynga was phenomenal in taking games to the social networks and lead to the plaguing of AppStore with similar apps reaping the trend. Hay Day is a worthy competent, equally effective as the legend itself.
Your uncle has decided to retire from the farm-life, leaving the farm to you. Don’t let him down and create the best farm in town (hey, it rhymes!). Like any other empire building game, you have some coins and gems to start with; buy some land and start ploughing. This marks level 0.
As you get your harvest, sell and earn enough money to build a bakery selling bread. Use their profits to get your hands on a poultry and a dairy. Start feed mills to support them and processing units for different products. Establish links with locals and shopkeepers to sell your goods and affirm your business. As more money flows in, you climb up in levels, your farm expands and more features are unlocked. By the time you reach 50, you have docks, lumbering, mining, piggery, grocery shops and much more. Show off your assets by decorating the farm with x’mas trees, fences, ponds, gifts, candy pole, snowman etc.
As you might realize, all these awesome inclusions are time-based and only gems can speed them up. Either wait hours for tasks to get completed or tap the pay button. If you choose the former, don’t worry; you can just multitask, as prompt notifications appear when events are finished.
Invite friends to be your neighbors and exchange gifts or lend help. The soothing sound effects and uncomplicated graphics are worth appreciation while the controls are more than awesome. Hay Day provides a really decent farm-owner experience and is your best shot, if you are done with Farmville.
