User Rating:Misleading title aside, this one is a handy little app for the forgetful ones, HeadFinder is very useful for those who find it hard to mentally keep track of their schedules. I, for instance found this app very helpful for tracking down my day to day activities. Be it grocery lists or reminders about tasks to complete for the day, HeadFinder turns it into a simple but yet efficient process.
The thing with most virtual reminder apps is that it is extremely tedious to manually input and process the various reminders. However, with HeadFinder, all it takes is 3 simple steps to get what you need posted on the virtual bulletin board.
Another cool feature of HeadFinder is the notepad-styled layout which adds to the visual appeal of the app. Not only does it remove the element of boredom from your typical virtual reminders, it makes HeadFinder very pleasant to look at. Eye candy, if you could put it that way.
However, in comparison with the default Reminders application on iOS 5, HeadFinder does not seem to stand out in any way. I personally found it easier to input my reminders into the default app. Moreover, users of the iPhone 4S will find the default app much more user-friendly thanks to the intervention of Siri, Apple’s virtual voice assistant system which allows users to dictate reminders to their phones without having to input any text at all.
For $0.99, HeadFinder is a great app to have for users who are not on iOS 5. However, for those who are, you might find the default app just about as useful as this.
