If you are a homeowner or even an apartment dweller with a SmartLinc INSTEON system installed in your home you can now use the HomeGuru app to remotely monitor or manage all of the settings from anywhere. With the app you can return home on dark night and turn on exterior lights, the household sound system, and even the oven without leaving your car.

The HomeGuru app provides direct access to all of the configured settings in your home or office. For instance, if you have your kitchen lights and appliances added to your system, you could open the app and turn the lighting on or off, preheat the oven, or manage any other appliance on the network.

Though there is already a web interface option for those with SmartLinc systems up and running, this app makes it much easier to monitor and change settings from any location. The only real difference between the mobile platform and the web-based option is that the thermostatic controls are not yet available for app users.

There are other remote home management apps, but the HomeGuru app is the exclusive approach to the remote use and adjustment to an existing SmartLinc INSTEON system.
