If you are a true bibliophile – a lover of books – the iBooks app is an ideal option for your mobile device. It gives users access to the iBookstore and then lets them read complete cover-to-cover copies of their favorite works of literature. The iBooks app allows the avid reader to download a huge number of favorite books.

They can sort them along their bookshelf by title, author, or category and reorder them whenever they like. To read a work, the user simply opens the book, selects the font size and style, and chooses the settings that allow them to read easily. The color of the page screens can be changed from white to sepia, and the screen can be adjusted from justified to left aligned text as well.

There are full search features for the contents, and the ability to bookmark, make notes and even sync between devices. Highlighting options allows favorite passages to be marked, and there are even some books that have speaking words which can be selected with a tap on the screen.

There are many ebook apps and mobile readers, but the iBooks app allows users to access the latest works and organize them in any way they like. It is also unique in its ability to sync to a whole array of alternative devices too.
