Those using the WorldCard Mobile app will be amazed at the ease in which contacts are created from traditional business cards. All you have to do is put the card in an area with adequate light, focus the camera on the text, and snap the image. The app then converts the entire thing to text and merges the information into the contacts list. Amazingly enough, it has the ability to even recognize if information belongs in an existing contact listing too! The app will automatically rotate a card scanned in the wrong direction and allows the app user to manually crop the image if only part of the card is scanned. The app will even recognize email text and transfer it correctly too.
