User Rating:While there are millions of people using Twitter throughout each day and night, not all want to read what is going on in the world. Instead, some people like to look only at the images people are posting. Now this process can be done through a mobile device thanks to the Peephole app. This app does not require a Twitter account to function, and it lets anyone take a look at the photos and images being posted to Twitter on any given day.
They can look at all of the timeline photos, or they can just look at what their friends or followers have put up instead. There are major image categories such as Trends, Public Timeline, Nearby Users, Friends, and the Search function. The sort feature can filter out duplicates, retweets, and replies and provide thumbnail images or full screen shots of the results.
All photos can be put into the user’s “favorites” or sent via email to friends. They can even tweet or follow the individual who posted the images they like through the app as well. All favorites can be run through a slideshow feature, and a single swipe deletes images from the collection if desired.
There are many different Twitter-oriented apps, but Peephole is unique in that it focuses on the images rather than the tweets. It is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
The Peephole app costs $1.99 for the download, and though a Twitter account is not mandatory it may be required for some of the features to function.
If you want to see all of the latest images from Twitter without browsing through hundreds of tweets this app can save you lots of time and effort.
