There are many reasons that people might want to make sound recordings of conversations, lectures or interviews. Sometimes this must be done discreetly or even completely undetected. This isn’t all that easy of a thing to accomplish, but the iSnitch Pro app makes it super-simple to make recordings of almost any length.

The iSnitch Pro app has the capability of being pre-programmed to begin recording at a certain time and for a specific length of time. For instance, anyone can leave their device in a room and trigger it to begin recording at nine in the morning and stop recording one or two hours later.

The app also has a sound meter level that can be set to detect even a very sensitive or low-key noise as well. When a recording is made it is automatically logged and given a time and date stamp as well. Any recording is also saved to the device memory where it is easily emailed to another person or a computer.

There are other sound recording apps and even those that can record all telephone conversations on the device, but the iSnitch Pro app is one that can be used as a remote recorder thanks to the programmable timer feature. It works with iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

The cost of this app is $.99, and it will require a microphone attachment for iPod Touch functionality.
